Forums - Nintendo - Wiis in stock

While I was in a large electronics store today in the city where I live, I noticed to my surprise a stack of  5 Wiis available.

Surely this must mean supply has finally met demand and it's all downhill from here on out for Nintendo. Wii is doomed.

This thread amuses me.

Summer arriving with a wave of great games, supply will constrict more soon, the store probly just hadnt notified anyone about them yet so it would take a day or two for them to shift with no open advertising about it.

The same thing happened last summer as well. Wii's availability became better until the fall when some good games were launched and the holidays approached.

I saw 7 Wii systems at my local walmart yesterday at about 6:00pm ... When I talked to the clerk he stated that they received 25 that morning and they were steadily selling through out the day and he figured they would be sold out by the end of his shift. Personally, I suspect that the slow summer season is upon us and it means that Wii systems may sit on shelves for a couple of hours (or maybe even a day or two).
