Recommend a game that you know it amazing but not well known.

I'll start with Actraiser on the SNES. It's fun, unique and has some of the best music of any videogame ever. Check it out on the virtual console if you have a Wii.

Great game.

Oh, and an actual gem is Mashed, also known as Drive to Survive (PS2)(fully loaded is essentially an expansion pack). It is kind of micromachines, but it makes for amazing multiplayer action. 4 players all on the same screen drive your cars around the track, 1st to die, looses 2 points etc to 1st place who gets 2 points. The aim is to get to 10 points (though to win you have to win that final round) and you start with 5. You die by either shooting the other people with the weapons strewn around, or if they are too slow they explode. However, the great thing is, that after death, you can launch airstrikes, by holding your aim over an opposing car and waiting for the reticule to turn into a circle, before shooting the seeking missile. It is very fast paced, the weapons are varied, and most of the tracks are great, and it is a shame that nobody has heard of it. I am the only person on the site to own it!

Mashed seems to have got terrible reviews, but it did get 9/10 from OPM UK and it was one of my favourite PS2 games

Wild Arms Series (PS1-2) Rpg's with some very unique features and a totally unique feel to them :P The western/sci-fi themes these games take on are just outstanding.

Xenosaga series.(PS2) Another cut-scene the game type of deals, but they have some absolutely imaginative and stunning cut-scenes with a very lovable cast of characters :P That and KOS-MOS is hoooooooooot!

Rumble Racing on ps2

Freedom Fighters. I had it for PS2 and it was one of my favs because you could control yourself along with (near the end of the game) 12 commandos with very simple controls. It was a very good Third Person Shooter mixed in with some very simple strategy elements (managing 12 soldiers takes some planning :P)

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Yeah, that was a great game. I dont think I ever owned it, but I did play it several times and it was a very good game. Pity it all went wrong with Kane and Lynch as I think they were made by the same dev
