Forums - Nintendo - "Beijing 2008" Releasing on 27 June for Wii also!!!!

http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/2008/noe_announces_summer_2008_release_schedule_8775.html

On the Nintendo Europe website, in the release list I have seen that the Beijing 2008(the 2nd title in the list), is being released for Wii on 27th June. Is the info given there true, as I have not seen the Wii version of the game being mentioned anywhere else.

Edit: Does anyone know the existence of this game for Wii.

I am a PC gamer.

I don't know why you are excited, it's almost guaranteed to suck.

Let´s see I can choice between Beijing 2008 or Mario&Sonic, I definitely choice Mario&Sonic.

I'm very interested to see how M&S sells over the coming 6 months. M&S (Wii) at 4.6m, M&S (DS) at 2.2m --> 6.8m. Combined *current* sales at 130k/week. At this rate, it has a real chance of breaking 10m (combined) by the end of the year.

I am not instrested in this game at all. I know that it will suck. I just wanted to know if any one of you have heard of its existance.

I am a PC gamer.

I also thought it wasn't getting released for the Wii.

How does everyone assume it will suck? I for one am glad it´s coming to Wii (if true).

found this disclaimer on IGN:

NOTE: Publisher SEGA announced that it had signed as the official game producer of the 2008 Olympic Games, and that it would be released for multiple platforms. This system was listed as one of the likely candidates for the videogame Beijing 2008, but instead of releasing a traditional version of the Olympic Games, SEGA instead produced the title Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on this platform. The company has not announced any other titles for this console with the Beijing 2008 license.
