Part of this is unfair: you can't talk about the PS3 in the future tense (at some point, lots of 3rd party games will sell well on the system!) without doing the same for the Wii and 360. Lots of 3rd party games -- in fact, more exclusive games -- have been announced on the Wii, and I expect lots of them to do well too. Same goes for the 360.

Otherwise, I agree. The combined might of the 360/PS3 will probably keep a hefty portion of the install base this generation: my personal guess is 50 percent Wii, 50 percent 360/PS3. So we definitely agree on that front. I'm just saying that the larger portion of the 360/PS3 combination has, does, and probably will come from the 360 portion, not the PS3.

The question is will the Wii get the big 3rd party games and not quick cash ins that it has been getting so far.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Threads like this are prime territory for trolls to bash the Wii, heck, if the fanboys can't have the hardware sales, they're certainly going to do everything they can to rub in whatever little game they can add to their library.

Might I also remind everyone here too that Soul Calibur II for the Gamecube sold the best of the three versions. And Soul Calibur III only sould one fourth the number of copies that that Soul Calibur II did. Again, another declining franchise for the PS360, congratulations.

A little hurt are we? Sounds like you're the one who can't handle the fact that this is a PS360 exclusive.

I mean seriously how is this bashing the Wii? I am listing a fact here that you and others attacked me for assuming it will not come to Wii and I have been vindicated and I wanted to post the news.

I don't have to rub in anything cause I have a Wii and I could have played it on it if it came out on it....

You also claimed it would be nice to see SC IV on Wii then you go on and claim oh this game is shit it's going down a dying franchise... very quick turnaround there.

Why turn this into a personal issue? I don't know why you feel the need to be so confrontational, can't you get along with other forum members or display an ability to agree to dissagree? Can't you just respect someone else's opinion. Seriously cklmb, your actions are only going to lead you to a banning, better shape up.

I disagree because I think PS3's lineup is the best out of the 3 this year and beyond.

But whatever, I'll continue to employ my PS3/PSP/PC/Wii/DS strategy.

Umm she was talking about Soul Calibur 1, 2, and 3...  And we should all be civil here.

He called you out for suddenly changing your mind because you can't stand to not defend the Wii at all points, and you completely ignore that.  You like to complete ignore facts, such as when you said:  "Might I also remind everyone here too that Soul Calibur II for the Gamecube sold the best of the three versions."

No, she specified gamecube and SC2 was the only one out of the 3 that was on that system. Also, why specify gamecube when clearly the PS2 SC2 sold the most of all the "versions" whether version means soul calibur or console? Nice try, though, but I think she should stop.

I'm not saying who is right or wrong, but the phrasing, "Soul Calibur II for the Gamecube sold the best of the three versions." could be inferred in English as having the highest percentage of the userbase for a way of it selling the best. Don't you just love the language? I enjoyed Soul Calibur II. I haven't tried III, and I don't see any video for IV other than the teaser which doesn't really show us much yet, so I can't make a determination on how enjoyable it looks. Of course, I would have liked it to come to Wii as it is the only current gen console I have, but we'll see how things go. Who knows, the next big fighting game could come on any system.

*cough* Brawl *cough*
Thats just me, though.

I stand corrected. Try being a little more polite in the future. :)

Wow, I guess Soul Callibur sales are even worse than I imagined.
