Can someone explain to me how the different versions of GTA IV are working? Because from what I can tell, the 360 version is the definitive one.

As you can see here, the "GTA IV Episodic content" remains exclusive to the 360. That seems... like a big deal. Is there something I don't know about? I'm not a huge GTA fan, so there could be something very improtant I don't know about. My interest in the subject springs from my interest in console sales, and how this might affect the 360/PS3 competition for marketshare.  

Who knows, I mean I'm willing to bet L.A. Noire will make it onto the 360 based on some things that have happened so the GTA IV exclusive content could go to the PS3 as well.

Edit: Oops nevermind L.A. Noire is exclusive to the PS3 because Sony Computer Entertainment America is actually paying the entire development cost for the game.

Just like MS is heavily funding advertising of 3rd party games that come to its platform alone, thus attracting them to develope for the 360. 

Maybe it changed, but I had heard initially that the content was going to be exclusive to the 360, and the PS3 would get its own exclusive content.  So it isn't so much that the 360 is the only one getting add-on content, just that it is getting special content.
