"2.40 was supposed to come out June 18th actually...till they found a pretty bad error with the XMB and had to fix it. New date is supposedly July 2ndish, maybe the 1st or 3rd. The RC release for 2.40 is already out though so it's just a matter of time."

"It's not fake, but yeah, that's how the trophy system is looking like so far. I'm hoping it'll only look that way for that section of the PSN member info. The trophies themselves hopefully will look like how they do in the Home videos."

this looks good, it could be true, i doubt he would post info if it was bs.

I would hope more bug squashing. it's quite a massive update in the scheme of things and they'd look like idiots if as many aspects as possible weren't properly tested before release.

I'd rather wait a month for a stable version than install a buggy one tomorrow.
