How do Japanese and American tastes differ when it comes to video games? Below is a link that is the first step to find out.  This survey is part of a comparative culture study that will attempt to identify the video game attributes valued by Japanese and American video gamers.  If differences are found, it will conduct further analysis to determine if these differences could be a result of culture.

I like Japenese style games persoanlly. FPS games where you shoot people are boring when plodding slowly, then too instense when in gun fights, then just plain gross if you mutiliate them or something. Halo can be pretty fun though since it is arcady. I think it is mostly cultural... people are pushed to like FPS, so they play them to fit in and learn to love them.

Sorry...we just get a lot of these, you see. People are always leery of users with a single post....and when that post is a new thread with a link to some weird survey...it looks a bit...conspicuous.

My advice....take some time to make a few posts and get people to see that you're not a bot; then try again. You probably will find that you get better results.
