Forums - Sony Discussion - Got a PSP. Woohoo!

I got a summer job which I need to wake up bright and early at 4:30 and can't get home till 6 or 7 PM. So I decided to buy a portable gaming system to pass the time and bought the Daxter bundle with Jeanne D'Arc. Great game so far but I found it to be too easy. Anyways, the PSP is a really good system except for that stupid analog stick and the fact that the battery dries up way too quickly. Now I was hoping for some good RPGs to play on the system so any suggestions?

If Jeanne D'Arc seems too easy, then start leveling the characters you will never use. I'm not sure how far you are into the game, but you'll find quite a few of them.

Stupid analog stick? Be happy it has one, its a first for portables (as far as I know)
Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea are also good SRPGS for PSP

final fanasy 1, final fantasy 2 or final fantasy crisis core,

If you are looking for a challenge, try Final Fantasy Tactics, the war of the lions. I am only about 45 minutes into it, but its pretty hard so far.

Actually, I hoping the games I buy don't use the analog stick or let you use the d-pad as an alternative.

@montana

uh, how does levelling those characters make it not easy?

Brave something story, its a very good RPG.

This is a list of JRPG's that are available to be purchased and soon to release that I recommend to play:

Brave Story: New Traveler
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition
Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Jeanne D'Arc
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Star Ocean: The First Departure
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Tales of The World: Radiant Mythology

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (way harder than Jeanne D'Arc)
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Disgaea
Final Fantasy II

You'll get used to the analog stick. Congratz btw.
