I think he means if you totalled a car that you would have to buy another one.

If I recall correctly, GT5 isn't just about hopping in a car and racing, they go so much further...
(I might be wrong here, so please correct me), You'll be able to go to dealerships internationally, and get any information about a car, they have a whole TV portion where you can view all sorts of video clips (IE: Top Gear episodes), its so much bigger then people think... and so much more then what ive said
if im wrong, let me know :D

Some cars will suffer from damage, and some won't, as allowed by the respective manufacturers. He also noted that should you suffer from the "ultrarealistic simulation" of a high-speed crash, you would "lose your car," perhaps hinting that totaling a car would remove it from your garage." http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2007/12/18/kazunori-yamauchi-dishes-more-gran-turismo-5-details |

On this forum, I've heard lines of shit and then I've really heard lines of shit.
Forza does a ton of stuff right. So does GT. They both have their pluses and they both fail on one level or another.
But calling Forza "bottom of the barrel"? Laughable.

I've read this line several times in various media and I'd like to know what manufacturers they are talking about. Forza has some high end manufacturers that GT never landed and they all allow damage. The one rule seems to be "no flipping".

Until I see GT5 implement damage, proper online, and voice chat, I disagree.
I completely reserve judgement until I see the real GT5 hit shelves. As it stands now, I would much rather play Forza 2.

Your absolutely right. I shouldn't have said GT5 will have a graphical edge. Thats clearly just my opinion.
