I member having Netscape back in the day. It was ok, but IExplorer surpassed it.

You can find plugins and addons that do tons of different things.  If you see anything that interests you, then try Firefox; if not, stick with IE7.

I like Firefox, think it's a good browser, and find use for a lot of plugins like Gmail Manager and the like.  However, if you're happy with IE7, then I see no need to pressure you into changing.

Firefox is free-as-in-freedom software and doesn't suck. That alone makes it better than IE or Opera.

It is the fastest and most extensible browser out there, if that makes you feel more justified. IE doesn't run on Linux, so it's that, or Konqueror (NO.), Opera (Evil) or Epiphany (No features).

And Epiphany is based on..................Firefox.

In all honesty, where would botnets go without people naively thinking their pc is safe with IE? I love comments like: I used it ages ago and assume a new version is the same. Those people must also think that Mario 1, 2 and 3 are the exact same games. Seriously, the more people will switch to FF the more infections will be ritten for it. Let them support the Asian botnets from their home and think they are as safe as can be.

IE is the best guys, it rules because its slow and dangerous. As a person with an IT degree I highly recommend YOU! as the naive user to get IE, so I dont have to worry about attracting too many crap on my pc. Remember, if it comes preinstalleed with Windows, it must be good!
