Forums - Gaming - SORRY I scored a great console deal

for cheap?

dead rising(26$ used)
oblivion (26$ used)
bioshock (40$ used.. beyond worth it)
perfect dark (9$ used.. not the greatest game, but you said you wanted cheap =])
rainbow six vegas (20 to 25$ used)

i work at gamestop, and these are the prices we give. also if you buy the subscription to gameinformer which is $14.99 you get ten percent off all these used games, so you can take that into account too. you also get 10% added to every game you trade in.

great advertising angrypoolman. as for the topic, i couldn't help you for the fact i don't own a 360

Congrats on the awesome deal, and welcome to the X360 club, you wont be sorry. Dead Rising is awesome fun, and really cheap. If you get XBox Live make sure to pick up Geometry Wars, Ikaruga, and Rez HD, dirt cheap and SICK.

Little more money and ya got to get Gears (If you dont already have it on PC) and of course HALO 3. If you like Final Fantasy you owe it to yourself to try Lost Odyssey, its great. I keep hearing how awesome NG2 is so perhaps you spring for a copy when you get the chance. Again, congrats on the steal!!

haha. sorry, i just got off work. head spinning with all this gamestop reservation pushing and subscription manipulation. really though, the game informer subscriptions are a good idea.. from one honest video game fan to another, if you pay $150 in used video games and accessories a year, youre getting your moneys worth. hell, its like youre getting the magazine for free.

I don't have a 360, but if one fell into my lap for $40, I'd go pick up really cheap used copies of Dead Rising and Beautiful Katamari. I'd rent Gears of War, BioShock, and GTA4. And if your PC can't handle it, I'd pick up the Orange Box for the 360 instead of the PC.

Also, pics or it didn't happen.

I did that magazine thing once, when I knew I'd be spending over $150 on used games that year.  I didn't even read the magazine so I didn't care that it was free.  That year I saved way more than enough for it to be worth it.  I used to be a baller, see, and any time I'd pop into a GameStop, I'd just start to buy every used NES game I didn't already have that was under $10.  Oh those were the days...

Gears of War
Halo 3
Ninja Gaiden 2
Lost Odyssey
Mass Effect

In that order

Hey dude, nice steal on the 360, you should check out JB-HIFI (If you got one near your area), they always have 360 game specials, their pre-owned games are also a steal, they are like brand new because they Buff the discs.

Enjoy, freind
