If you don't have a gaming PC there are plenty of games to buy. I recommend:

1. Halo 3

2. Viva Pinata

3. Bioshock (it may be coming to the PS3 but it ain't out yet)

4. Virtua Fighter 5 (it has online now!)

5. Forza 2

JRPG's are not really my thing but I will get FF XIII for PS3 when it arrives.
I mainly like racers, shooters, action and fighter games.

$40?? damn thats dirt cheap. not meaning to be a turd but what is that, stolen or something? i like a good deal just like the next guy but that is just to good to be true...there has got to be some catch to its uber low price.

Danmmit Montana, you beat me to BioSHOCK. Still I would never buy Viva Pinata

(EDIT: due to my preferences and to my experiences of your personal preferences),

Definitely Ninja Gaiden II or GTA4 (my friends love it, but I'm not into it). However, they're not cheap DMC4 is pretty fun (thinking about it currently, but NGII isn't cheap right now...

My recommendations are Ninja Gaiden 2 and Eternal Sonata. I don't care what your "thing" is, if your a gamer, enjoy, thank me later.

L.C.E.C: It's a bad attitude to hype up games like Ninja Gaiden II and Bioshock and then say that a game like Viva Pinata is bad. We should be supporting variety in our games regardless of console. And Viva Pinata, while not the best game ever made, is a sign that there is still hope for Rare.

1. Gears of War
2. Halo 3
3. Dead or Alive 4
4. PGR 4
5. Forza 2

nice steal man.
I once got a offer for a 360 for $125.00 but i turned them down.... i just bought like 3 games and the time and had no cash. Kinda regretting it now because i want Fable 2. But i will find one before that.

"look"? my cousin has the damn game! I [against my will] played it and I didn't like it. I don't like Viva Pinata. I didn't say it was "bad", just that I wouldn't buy it based on my experience of his prefrences. I Particularily don't like Animal Crossing (WW was kinda fun, but not that entertaining to me), and I don't like many other games for that matter. I'm not trying to "hype up" NGII. I'm just stating my opinion. Kameo, I don't remember that well, but I remember playing an in-store demo and it didn't leave any bad or frustrating memories so it can't be too bad.

And "hardly-core"? WTF? I am far from that "core" group that think halo 3 and madden are the world's best games. If anything I am a true hardcore gamer. I still play mario, sonic, pikmin, and tons of other games that "look kiddy" because they are FUN and I don't care what others think. I don't just play games because they "look cool". Why do you think I bought a Wii first? because looks (graphics) aren't everything.

Anyways, I edited my post and put in why I said I wouldn't buy it

I'm not a "core" gamer and that's that.
