I would expect the GTX260 to be faster considering the price point, but then again the GTX260 draws over 230w and the HD4870 draws around 150w.

And the HD4850 ($200) pulls out around 14,000 3dmarks06... but we know how important is that, don't we? :P

Well I'm a heavy overclocker and if the GTX 260 is a very power consuming, and hot card then I won't get it even if it is more powerful.
