Nah low post counts are only really frowned upon when a new member makes a lot of threads (which gets aggravating) or when they insult an established member (which is disrespectful). Otherwise its all good, we were all newbies to this website at one time or another.

I lurked for a few months, I mainly lurked and didn't join because I initially only used the site for sales comparison discussions on other sites.  I eventually joined after reading many threads, and found the forum environment very welcoming.
