FF13 should stay PS3 exclusive.

While I support anything and everything Squaresoft/SquareEnix, FF:CC franchise were never up to par w/ the Final Fantasy games we've known..

What I do believe though is SquareEnix will do what they did w/ FF12...

After SO much time waiting, i don`t know who WOULD wait ANOTHER year or two for x360 release.
After it will be sold on PS3, x360 version will seell at best case 300k. And i am not sure, is that worth for time spending and porting.
They don`t have time for FFXIIIversus, and instead making versus, port FFXIII?
Even if it will be other team, the game won`t be PERFECT anymore as it will be on PS3. =]

Anywho, I think it'll definitely be either multiplatform or excusive.  Really I don't see any way around it.  Developers will be forced into a hard place and will have to pick one or the other.  They can't have both and their options don't really allow for much else.

So there you have it.  Discuss.

i think after wat they see from mgs4, they will choose to remain exlclusive to the ps3, and i personally think if they want to make a really high quality game like mgs4 or gears of war, they need to focus on only one platform. So far in my opinion the highest quality games are all not developed simultaneously for 2 platforms.
for example uncharted, mgs4 (ps3) gears of war, bioshock (360)
and yes i really think GTA4 and Assasins Creed will be much better if its exclusive to either one of the consoles. COD4 is an exception though :P

I think it will stay exclusive beacuse its one of the biggest exclusives ps3 have.

It will stay exclusive for 1 years and then be released on Xbox360 (as MGS4)

Also MS has tried for months to get FFXIII and they didn't succeed ...

It depends on where the future of the series lies. If they want to go multiplatform on future releases of the game they'll consider either a simultanious or delayed 360 release. If they don't want to go multiplatform in the future then I guess they won't. The same applies to Konami and the MGS franchise as well. Its all about the cost vs benifit for them, really.

MGS franchise would cease to matter if Kojima really retires. FFXIII has more of a reason to remain exclusive than even mgs4. Why? Because there would be a larger PS3 base at the time of its release, mgs4 has already acted as the guinea pig by proving that this iteration can sell like its counterparts despite a smaller user base and most importantly, if mgs4 can move the hardware it did in Japan, think about FFXIII (remember that no mgs game has previously mad a mil in Jaapan while no true FF released on the PS line of consoles has done less than 2 mil in Japan)!
