Chronotrigger:
Try booting in safe mode, and see if you still get the error. If you do, try redownloading and reinstalling it; something may have gotten corrupted.

If it doesn't give you the error in safe mode, that means one of the plugins (flash, QT, etc.) may be broken, so try turning those on/off untill you find out which is causing the error.

They are little applications you can add to the browser to suit your needs. For example AdBlock Plus is a very important addon that everyone should have, as it blocks every type of ads. I also have one (gTranslate), thast allows me to highlight any text and translate it with Google Traductor. I also have NoScript, it blocks Javascript, hence it improves security, but it can be a bit troublesome because you have to allow manually Javascript for every site. My advice is that you go to the add-on site and browse a bit, you'll for sure find something you want.

ad block tells me it's not compatible with fire fox 3.0

Or, if you want to support the sites you view for free, you could ignore Ad Block. NoScript will get rid of all the annoying ones anyways (like flash, etc), and any that require Javascript (a heck of a lot of them, as it turns out)

I personally run Download Statusbar, NoScript, and Foxmarks (synchronizes bookmarks across different computers). I wouldn't recommend having too many extensions either, because they can start to bog down the speed it runs at.

Does anybody like the new url bar??? I growing too like it but it's way too big! 2 lines for a site and it searches trough your history and book marks whenever you input something.. It's really anoying that my gf could get behind my Mac and "accidently" found out what sites I surf to.. you guy's know which sites I mean.. ^^
