It feels like it should be funnier than it actualy is, maybe because the other cartoons in this style are great (simpsons, futurama, family guy)

It's not bad but is doesn't compare to The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Futurama

I prefer American Dad to Family Guy. However, South Park and Futurama are much better. Simpsons is the nectar of television, and I need to watch atleast two episodes a day to stay alive.

I don't know, some how I feel like all the plots are generated in a factory far, far away from the rest of society. Deep in the badlands, a computer spits out American Dad scripts day and night. Unfortunately, the computer has worn down from decades of neglect, and the scripts it generates have gotten increasingly worse.

There was once a joke in MAD magazine, wherein American Dad writers were digging through a dumpster for thrown out Family Guy scripts. I think that perfectly describes the most likely alternative.

Yeah, I've always WANTED to like this show, and I've tried really hard, but for some reason I just can't. I think I've gotten one or two smiles out of it, but that's about it.

Man I miss Andy Capp's Salsa fries.  That was the best falvor!  I was pissed when i couldn't find it anymore.
