People delude themselves that one day we shall find out everything about the universe, how it twirls and swirls and shit.

IMO we won't ever come close to finding this out, so there is no sense in thinking about such abstract stuff. While we ponder about the meaning of life of the universe, our true life is just around us, and it doesn't stop for a second. I rather keep up with what's around me and make use of my strength to it's highest potential to bend life in my favour. Our lives are too short to keep thinking about why we are here, we just are.

Let's make use of it for ourselves and the future generation i say.

Huh. Who would've thought that beggining anew in my real life would coincide with starting anew on vgchartz?

Any day now, the dollar will be worth less than 2 zloty......any day now.....and my life savings will be in total jepordy ;(.

I agree.

There are alot of things in the universe that are beyond our comprehension, and I think they will stay that way for a long time.

Good for you
when i got drunk i only chat about girls and women

i am agnostic.

some things to consider

when you look at the beginning of the universe you can have - everything always existing or everything from nothing. You can also have God always existing or God created from nothing. its an interesting thing to think about, especially when you add Time to it.

There is also how little we can actually percieve. in the words of donald rumsfeld, known knowns, known unknowns and unknown unknowns. We have senses that make our life easy. Some creatures sense things we cant. So what all cant we sense.

Most religions center on God being some allknowing, all powerful being. But what if he isnt. Humans wonder about their purpose in life, why cant God. What would Gods purpose be if he exists.

I think that every religion is wrong. What are the odds that one religion got it correct and the other 50 or so religions all got it wrong. I believe in the possibility of a higher being, but that if it does exist then it is not anything close to what religion depicts it as.

Yeah, the concept of an all powerful and all knowing God that discriminates against people according to where they were born doesn't gel with me.

I am an absolute 100% postively pro-active athiest here.

Your logic is flawed just because the big bang may not be true doesn't me there is a FSM.

and vice versa.

They are two independent events.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I'm a weak atheist. I believe there is no god but I do not believe that the existence of a god is an impossibility - just an extremely unlikely possibility.

I occasionally worship the FSM though, I hear he doesn't mind people not being too ardent in their beliefs and that they have beer volcanoes and stripper factories in their heaven. To be honest, I was converted once they got to the beer volcanoes.
