I just feel curious about how you people feel about respect in couple and what are your "limits".

What I mean is that what is it that you consider okay and bad?

Example: You would consider fine that your gf thinks a guy looks good but you wouldn't find it respectful if she doesn't stop starring at him.

Or maybe you're the kind of person who doesn't mind anything at all?

My opinion: I get a little jealous and possessive... Example I wouldn't like it if my bf bought some nude woman calendar because I would feel like I'm not hot enough for him so he needs other visual satisfaction. I wouldn't like it either if he stared a long time at another girl.

I was also wondering if there's a difference in the mentality from other countries and other genders.

So what are your thoughts about it?

I have my limits but if a gf started buying calenders with hot girls on I think id be ok with that :D

Well it's mostly the conflicts of instincts, on one side you have the one where you like looking at the opposite sex cause instinct attracts you to them, then you have the other instinct of having a significant other where they're supposed to be there for you and no one else. To me it's not a big deal because I understand that its just human nature, and thats not to say I don't get very jealous but I live with it that I'm jealous cause I really care about my significant other. So in other words it's life =\ the only thing to do about it is talk it through with your boyfriend.

If my woman wants to look at some other guy, I don't really care. I'm the one she comes home to at night.

Besides, sometimes it's just biology, people just look whether they mean to or not.

I kid ^_^ don't know, I wouldn't bother on being jealous. Why should I be jealous after all? In any case, it would be my gf the one to be jealous... though I have little patience for those kind of things hehe.

Any relationship has different rules, I am very open mind, with my own limits.

I respect my wife feelings and try to understand and fill her emotional needs.
I give her a lot of freedom, if she wanna go with friends, she can go. I am not a jealous person. She is more restrictive about me and my stuff, since she is a jealous girl.

When Love and trust somebody things are easier.

Ah... well yeah my opinion is that you're not disrespecting your significant other if you look at a good looking person the line is basically when they cheat, that's too far.
