Today I see a X360 commercial, they say if you want fun buy 360 and show the console with 2 games, PGR4 and other I don´t remember.

It's a wierd time for both companies to start advertising. I don't know why people expect 360 to drop soon, MS wants to make a profit too and they already have a major price advantage.

I hope that's not Microsoft's strategy: advertise a bunch of games (except NG II) that are exactly the same on the oposing console. It didn't work for the Gamecube, and it won't work here. When Microsoft starts showing ads for the holiday exclusives, then I'll cosider it aggressive advertising.

Not soon, but I think they will for the holiday season, since they will want to have blowout sales for software. I actually think they will drop prices when GOW 2 is launched...while some thought around GTA, GOW 2 would be a much better choice, since the new chips are going to be in production units, and so cost will be down, so massive sales for GOW 2 would overcome the price cuts...mostly due to the tsunami effect of far more consoles sold...lower profit per unit and lower margins, but massive volume...like for Halo 2...600K even..that's Wii-like!

Haha, you wish. There's a lot of leniency for people trolling in here. What he did was trolling the wii at the nintendo forum - honestly, I see worse trolls here daily but anyways you can check the reason ban at his profile and read the thread yourself.

As for the usefulness of the campaign, shrug. I personally think both HD consoles are way too overcomplicated for the average non-gamer(media capabilities, online shops, extensive configuration panels, etc etc) to bother with - the wii is much closer to the 'ol insert cartridge/disc and press start.
