I like many games which are considered to be good or excellent games (look at my profile for some hints), but Kameo was our reason to get a 360 at the time.

 

 

The game has been pretty much underrated everywhere: the last of a dying breed T_T now, there's nothing until the next zelda.

Halo 3 is garbage, fable sucks, big deal you guys got gears, mass effect 2 will be on ps3, (if thats the case they should just port mass effect on ps3 ) which will happen, starcraft seriously get a life, no one wants to hear you everyday complaining wining and being immature, just face reality, ps3 has a way better lineup of games for the rest of 08/09 killzone2 already owns gears.

Well, it's like this. This mythos around Halo 3 has formed from marginalization that the game sucks. It actually does not suck. It's quite fun.

A. The game is over-rated.

B. CoD4 blows it out of the water.

C. Yahtzee's review is scathing and marginalizing.

D. There is a stigma that the single player campaign is short(It's about 10-13 hours, long for a shooter)

E. There is a rumor than it's an online shooter only.

In the end though, Halo 3 is better than any other FPS on the PS3 besides CoD4. Bioshock is better than Halo 3 but it's not on the PS3 yet. Halo 3 is much better than the really good FPA The Darkness, and F.E.A.R. on the PS3 sucks compared to the other versions.

The fact is, the single player is fun and filled with replay value.

It is also the best 2 player split screen shooter, period, since it has co-op play, and really ourperforms CoD4 in 1v1(due to CoD4's shallow life pool even at double health), though lacks the team mechanic that makes that games multiplayer so famously good.

So yeah, don't believe everything you read. Halo 3 is certainly over-rated, but it's still a AAA shooter, and you most definitely should want to play it if you never have. End of story.

Also, Gears of War...is godaweful. Fable 1 is much better imo.

My most anticipated 360 game is Alan Wake, and if you all saw the trailer it would be at the top of your list as well.

I'm not sure you read what i said or quoted me by mistake, but i said i loved halo3 and beat the game 5-6 times.  Biosohock is a good game, but its too hard to compare it too halo3, they are just too different.  I've also seen the trailer for Alan Wake, it seemed really interesting, but what we saw was so long ago, and the game has been pushed back until 2009 sometime.

Bitter fanboys salivating about games they can't have /yawn. You are comparing two unreleased games and saying the one on your console is better. Please, give me a solid argument about why KZ2 is better than gears. I am anxiously waiting your gameplay reports on KZ2 after having played the game long enough to make a valid comparison to gears.

So, let's start by saying when you did play killzone 2 and for how long you played it.

edit: oh boy, it seems you are a fountain of insider knowledge! on top of having played kz2, you have claimed on other posts that gears 2 would get delayed to 2009. Could you please elaborate on that?
