Spain is about 10% of other, so it's not too hard to extrapolate. You can't just add 10% to hardware sales though, because existing shelf stock still sells. So realistically, I'd probably use a 6-8% multiplier to estimate hardware sales.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people crossed the borders and bought it.

 


Except Spain is a disproportionately large region for Sony, & counts for about 15% of its european installed base

So 2 days worth of sales, without Spain, and people are calling 430,000 software sales a failure? Thats half a million copies in two days, whats bad about that?

Now that is cherry picking.

Japan is software roughly 460,000, the hardware is roughly 45-70k units, likely in the 60-65k range.

NA will be more than 120k HW sold, assuming the first day sales were actually correct.

To nitpick a bit more, it's actually 3 days of sales, not two (not that it matters much, as many games get released towards the end of the week).

12th, 13th, 14th.
