Does anyone have numbers on the first Killzone sales?

The devs said it sold a million copies a few times over.

I'd say it sold in the region of about 2.2 million ww.

Killzone never broke 1 Million units ...

Back when we had monthly data, I looked into sales of Killzone 2 and it sold poorly at launch and (almost) immediately fell off of the charts; not surprising being that it was a pretty average game released around Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Halo 2, Half Life 2, World of Warcraft, and Metroid Prime 2. If I remember correctly it sold (roughly) 600,000 copies in Japan and North America combined

Killzone 1 sold over 2 million copies worldwide (which includes Platinum sales. It sold best in Europe actually which is a change from the norm regarding fps games).

Do you have any evidence of this though? Killzone has never been listed in the Million seller list on this site and the only place I can find where anyone claims that Killzone is a million selling game is on a forum; generally speaking publicly traded publishers (like Sony) will brag when their game has shipped/sold over 1 Million copies.

As far as I can tell, none of these links say what type of sales they are reporting. Also it seems like they are including greatest hits sales which are sold at a significant discount. 

as far as i can tell they all report it selling at least 2million copies.. no matter how you look at it ..killzone still sold 2 mill... why do sales of killzone matter so much anyway?? Oh i know why because its a sony game. and people feel obligated to shut down the hype...  i got a news flash though... one of the greatest games of all time didnt sell well... SHadow of the colossus.... so sales is not always the defining factor...

 If we count Wii-play why not to count Platinum titles...
