1. The title of this thread is not your "friends" question, it's your "friends" opinion. You might as well state "My friend thinks MGS4 is too actiony."
2. The whole "friend" thing is a lie. "You" think MGS4 is "too actiony."
3. You made multiple threads of this.
4. "Actiony" isn't even a word.
5. No, it's not too "actiony." If anything, it's too "cut-sceney" (or "cut-scenery?"), but the story is still good.

I agree in that there are too many action focused cutscenes that I wish were used for deeper dialog sequences.
No, judging from the trailers, I'd say there's a loot of plain stand-up shooting, but there's a lot to do for a sneaker with all that ground camoflage tactics and whatnot.
depends on your playing style, translated patience/skill, take your time and you can get thru with very few, maybe no firefights. on my second playthrough i'll be going for no kills or alerts, this might be very VERY hard this time around though.
