No way in hell an MGS game outsell GTA.

End of '08 Predictions: Wii - 48m X360 - 25m PS3 - 19m
Wii monthly NA sales will top 400k every month in '08. *Jan sales ruined it. Grrrr!*
WiiFit will top 1m in sales in its first month of release in North America.
MGS4 will NOT be released in '08. *Darn it!* FF13 will NOT be released in '08.
Rockband Wii will top 600k in first month sales in North America.
WiiFit will pass the PS3 WW sales by Xmas '09.}

I get the feeling people are underestimating how front loaded this game will be.

GTAIV is a game which will be picked up by a large number of people due to brand recognition and because its fun for everybody. MGS4 is a game with a devoted set of fans and it is a game which many people will find confusing.

I think GTAIV (PS3) > MGS4 in the long run.

sorry but no way.... i have 5 friends that own ps3's and 4 of them own grand theft auto4.... i asked them if they were going too get metal gear solid 4 and they said that game doesnt even appeal to them.... gta4 will outsell it....
ps. im gunna try metal gear solid 4

GTAIV will sell more than MGS4 on the PS3. Though the MGS4 bundle will definitely make it closer, GTAIV will still beat it out in the end.(IMO)
