The World Ends With You shortage ends for you

Last week we reported on the apparent nationwide sell-out of Square Enix's quirky – but obviously more popular than anticipated – DS action RPG, The World Ends With You. A very helpful tipster sent us a "heads up!" email this morning to confirm that exactly what the game's publisher said would happen is happening: it's back in stock at many retailers.

A quick jaunt to some of the larger online stores confirmed it. Both Amazon and GameStop's e-store have the game ready to ship. GameStop's physical locations have also begun receiving re-stocks, but it's not on shelves in all areas just yet. For now, if you want in on the game's oh-so-hip (and seriously confusing to some) RPG action, hitting up one of the bigger shops on the net is your best bet.

This game looks cool to me, and it's good to see Square is willing to branch out from FF and DQ, but I've got too many others right now.  I just remembered a few people on here wanted this but couldn't find it.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I plan on getting TWEWY eventually

The game looks pretty interesting and I'm thinking about picking it up for my DSL. I saw on sale it for just under $30 new (the Japanese version of course), so a pretty good price. I just picked up A.S.H. and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, though so I may have to wait.... :-o

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

wow they put it back in stock now when i dont have the money....i was lookin for this couple weeks ago. i hope its in stock when i go lookin next time

This game may give you Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

But that may be because it's extremely enjoyable and hard to stop playing. It's the only game where you'll hear an enemy scream out "Tangent" and you'd actually be worried.

I bought it, and seriously - it rocks.

Beats the crap out of Phantom Hourglass, and every other handheld game ever.

The World Ends With You, is the best handheld experience ever.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

It's definitely a must-buy. I got it the other day and I can't put it down. XD The character design is beautiful and the plot already has me pulled in! It's probably going to end up being one of my favorite DS games!

If S-E keeps this up, they will finally be as good as they were in the SNES/PS1 days
