Btw, maybe Capcom also should consider a Metroid Prime-style Mega Man game? Not for Mega Man 9 of course, but for a new Mega Man series? I think it could seriously rock.

Mega Man Legends was an awesome game.  

But it'll probably be 2D seeing as that it's called Megaman 9.

Maybe the voice acting (if there is any) will be leagues better than Mega Man 8 *edit - oops, I ment 8* or Mega Man X4?

Good grief I hope not.  I want the original Megaman to stay as far away from that piece of crap known as Zero as possible; it's bad enough that X is tainted with him.

You don't understand.  There are Megaman games (Legends, Battle Network, Zero...etc) and then there is Megaman (Megaman 1-8).  Spinoffs can be random piles of trash glued together for all I care (Battle Network shows that formula works), but the core series of Megaman needs to be 2D.
