Mass Effect
Bioshock
Gears of War
Lost Odyssey

They are the four games I would get, all should be fairly cheap by now.
When you want more games check out:

-Eternal Sonata
-Dead Rising
-Kameo
-Halo 3
-Saint's Row
-GTAIV

And at the end of the year you MUST play Banjo Kazooie, Gears of War 2 and especially FABLE 2!!!!

Congratulations on your purchase.

If you can afford it, get an Elite because of extra downloadable capabilities. If not, a Pro will do fine.

I think the best thing about jrpgs is that the stories are good and long, and with B-ray jrpgs can be way longer on ps3 than on 360.

Most of what you said it irrelevant as the OP clearly isn't strong PC gamer.

To deal with this last point.  JRPG's are easily the best candidates for multi-disks as they are very linear.  Already we have seen Eternal Sonata fit on one disk, and BD and LO having multi disks you have to change every 10-15 hours.  Not a big deal at all.

Lol thats funny... I could have sworn he said he would wait for a PC version of Fable if it came out.... So he is a PC gamer.... So that knocks out alot of games you guys been listing.

you remind me when tekken tag come out on cd for the ps2 and devs where saying no one will ever fill a dvd...oh

and back in the day when everyone said there was no need for anything bigger than a floppy disk.

At the end of the day, you two have each come into a thread where a person has made up their mind to purchase a 360, and tried to derail it.

HE asked for advice on what model to get, and what games he should get first.

Help him or get out.

Lol I did help him out. You are the one saying he isnt a PC gamer. I was just correcting you.

My advice was and still is don't sell the Ps3 and save up for the 360.

Thats the best advice in this thread.

Also I read through his posts. I dont know if this guy is ligit or not. Right from the get go he was saying he bought a Ps3 over 360 and that it was great then shortly after "360 is better im selling my ps3" Any chance he got he would downplay MGS4. Also he hasn't mentioned any other game on Ps3 except for that game...

Seems iffy to me.

Congrats to the OP on seeing the light. LOL. Seriously, being away from my systems for nearly 3 weeks, I have a new appreciation for my 360 and Wii. The PS3 can stay boxed up.

As far as game recommendations, one of the best values is Test Drive Unlimited. It's like $20 and it isn't a shooter, but a great departure and exotic whips.

As far as shooters, you gotta go with Call of Duty 2 (like $20), Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Bioshock, Turok (it's not bad) and of course, Mass Effect. I would also recommend Ace Combat 6 as well.

Once again, have a blast with your 360.

i was just presenting the cheaper alternative, and cheering the guy up.... didn’t meant to hurt your feelings.

Can someone list him 360 only exclusive games that don't appear on PC since he is indeed a PC gamer?

Halo 3...

So what he thinks MGS4 isn't the second coming - the 3rd installment didn't set or break records and was ok, but forgetable. He said he's selling his PS3 and wants to know what kind of 360 to buy. End of story. Folks tell him to keep it but I am like this - if it's collecting dust, it's collecting dust - keep it moving, be it a PS3, a 360 or a Wii.

If you are not helping him decide what 360 he wants and what games he should buy, you are trolling.

Or, there's the belief that maybe you failed at reading comprehension.

My local Target has it where you buy 2 $60 games (I would grab LO and COD4) you get Mass Effect for free. :)

You should check your local store and see if they have it, if they do, grab it.

I saw this yesterday.
