I've got some questions...specifically about being able to play Reason's sound banks through my keyboard (and through my pa).

I can use my keyboard as a midicontroller...but the sound only comes out of my computer speakers.  I have a midi in/out cable...so I don't think it's an equipment problem.  I'm thinking it has to do with the way taht reason is communicating with my keyboard. 

Any sound techs around?

i dont know if you will find the answer there. What type of music do you make? I tried to use reasons but since it was burned for me i didnt have any instructions and i gave up on it. good luck.

I'm mostly an acoustic guitar player...but lately I've been getting into keyboards/synths. I just got reason from my cousin, and I'm blown away by what can be done.....have you ever turned the racks around? And seen all the wire connections?

I gave up trying to get the sound to come out my midi....and I just ran a line into my pa from the headphone jack....which should at least partially get me where I wanted to go. Of course that means I can't process vocals live now....since the audio out is already being used.

I think you need a phd in programming to get 1/10 of the information out of these programs. Thank God for the internet.

Your music was pretty good. i dont make any music, my brother makes alot of hip hop beats, i just play piano but i'm not that great at it yet. Have you ever heard of these guys before: Rodrigo y Gabriela, your music reminded me of them.
