We haven't heard practically anything from FFXIII either; it's the Japanese developer way to be secretive.

I think it is. No mention of it at TGS + the FFCC team is already working on another game.

@ Trestres I didn't realize this back then, but if it was canceled for what reason would SE have to keep this news a secret? They would have announced it as canned. As for the new FFCC game. That is a DS game that uses the build that Ring of Fates has, and mostly is multiplayer focused, and is being ported to the Wii. There is no doubt that it only took a few months to make, compared to FFCC:TCB which is a full blown wii game that changed its development many times. You could argue that FFCC:TCB has been in development for 3 years, but I would argue that FFXIII has been in development since 2003 along with versus and both have yet to be released. And up until a few months ago there was little to no info about them except 1 trailer. Meaning square doesn't show their games until they are ready, and they may not be ready to show FFCC. Its funny how peoples opinions change though. I realized that when I started this thread I was arguing the same point that you are now, but yet now I'm doing the opposite. Anyway I would at least wait until its officially canceled trestres until you start making it sound like it already has.

@Falcon A spin-off of what exactly? The Crystal Chronicles series has basically nothing in common with Final Fantasy other than the Name, and a few things like Moogles, and Magicite. After that the similarities end. It technically is a series of its own, and no its not a spinoff.

Well it's definitely gone silent since TGS 07 I believe it was first shown. But I don't remember. May be canceled but I have no idea nor does anyone else. Could be could not be but I have no idea.

I still can't understand why did they show a trailer at last year's TGS while they didn't even show anything or said anything about it at this years TGS or the SE event.

The game is probably cancelled or being moved, and if not, what's the reason of the sudden lack of media? If the game was still on track last year that's why they showed a trailer. But they didn't have anything to show this time, which is strange, cause 1 year is a HELL LOT of time and dont tell me they wouldn't have anything new, cause that's just a bad lie.

@Zucas It was shown at E306, then in may of last year another trailer was shown.
