So the PS3 really won't sell 5M without games, go figure.

Kutagari said that the first five million will buy it, whatever it is, regardless of whether or not it has games. Even at $600, I would have been inclined to agree with him simply because the playstation name was so powerful. I can't believe how quickly it was tarnished with everything that went wrong with the PS3 (from the very-late announced delays to the execution and PR everywhere else).

I guess that's why Kutaragi is no longer with us!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

The general consesus among the gamer community is that Sunshine and Windwaker were indeed rushed, and Nintendo's own people went on record saying they should have spent more time on the titles.

And by the way, I enjoyed them both immensely (I didn't like Mario 64 or Oncarina of Time oddly).

I've never heard from anyone that these games were rushed, but whatever. I thought these games were polished, as with most of Nintendo's games. If these were rush jobs, then they are the best rush jobs I've ever seen.

Ocarina of time and Mario 64 is much better then windwaker/sunshine. Specially Zelda Majoras mask destroyed the zelda serie for me. My friend calls windwaker/sunshine the dark age of Nintendo. I dont agree with him those games was ok, but Zelda and Mario is not meant to be just "ok" and that is the problem.

There were supposed to be two more dungeons in Wind Waker, they rushed it though.  As for Sunshine, you have to admit it definitely could have used a couple more worlds.

There were? Good thing they weren't included because that would have made it way too long. It took me long enough to take pictures of everything and making them into statues. You're right about Sunshine, but it still didn't feel rushed. Play FarCry or Enter the Matrix if you want to "feel" a rushed game....if you have the patience or the stomach. Those games are definitely rushed...crappy graphics, bad physics, terrible game flow.

I think it's crazy that they see the success of social gaming on the Wii and try to get something out to cover for that... it's ludicrous because the console is too expensive to entice casual or social gamers!

Yeah they shouldn't even be focusing on that right now for a while...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
