July 14 was the press conference. Thats all you need to know, the E3 itself sucks compared to 2006.



end of core gaming days prediction:

 

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

 

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

 

E3 2010- Tape runs out

So how do u know about disruption and Ninty making games after games on the NES era? Just to let you know Im born in 1980's and the only known NES game I played from Ninty was Super Mario Bros. THATS IT. Unless you include the likes of Balloon fight and Ice climbers and the pinball and tennis game. SMB3 was the shit though, its the best game ever. Anyway, we're not talking about the past though, Im talking about Ninty making IPs after IPs seem this is Ninty's answer for 3rd parties not making quality games for the Wii, and saying Ninty to 3rd parties,  "take a hike" we dont need you if you dont want to develop then fine!

I wouldn't be surprised at all, after all this rumor is so vague that it could apply to anything ...

A new IP wouldn't be surprising at all being that Monolith or Retro could be working on a new (unknown project), Nintendo could have bought just about any small developer with their pocket change, and Nintendo has a pretty decent track record of creating new IPs through internal development; Nintendo could even be working on a joint venture with (pretty much) any major third party publisher to create a new IP for the Wii, after all that is how Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles was created for the Gamecube.

Super Wario shake
Pikmin 3
Animal Crossing
Disaster
Project HAMMER
Kid Icarus

Wow 7 not including the one that soriku posted so that will count to 8

 Normally I'd laugh this off and say "good joke, buddy", but after Link's Crossbow Training and Miyamoto's comments, it certainly does seem like Nintendo's at least thinking along these lines, doesn't it? Can we finally see Miyamoto's vision of a Terminator/Zelda fusion game come true?

And if we did, I'm not really sure how I'd feel about it...

 the only new IPs (with/without new characters, in both cases - with) in that list are project hammer and disaster.. project hammer is shelved permenantly, leaving only 1 new IP from your list, which is disaster

Do you understand what a "new IP" is? i'll give you an example of one from GC - Animal Crossing GC .. another would be Pikmin 1, again on GC.. i guess the only new ip released for wii thus far is the wii franchise itself + mii characters

 I'm pretty sure that the futuristic terminator zelda was more of a joke. But, I can see him making a sci fi shooter with a new ip. Or even a sci fi/fantasy mix.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
