I don't think the same amount of people will buy GeoW 2,due to that "wow"(graphics) factor not being there.

Gears of War is like a huge franchise alongside the likes of Halo series, COD series, MGS series, etc. I am expecting huge sales numbers for Gears of war 2 in its first week. Especially in the USA where shooter games are huge.

Im not sure, its hard to predict... It really depends on factors such as price cuts and momentum. If its carrying a lot of momentum it will do 3million easy peasy. If its selling at a rate similar to now taking into account increases in sales towards the end of the year then it'll sell about 1-1.5million.

I'm not really sure about gears but if Microsoft advertises it half as well as they did with Halo it should open around 1 million and sell 3-5 million life time.

Every gamer played GOW1 will have at least 80% chance they will buy 2. SO i would say 2.5 to 3 for the FIRST WEEK.
