I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one excited by Majesco's awesome 2D shump Blast Works (releasing today June 10).
The game is getting reviewed well, and has crazy quirks and almost unlimited replay, not to mention a cheap price - $40. For those that don't know, you shoot enemies, but can add their shells to your ship to shoot like they have while using the addition as a shield. The content editor is amazing, and actually has easy to use internet capability, avoiding some of the normal friend code difficulties. I'm hoping that Majesco has good sales for the game, every once in a while they pull off something brilliant (remember Psychonaughts anyone?). Since its largely an expanded, and more fleshed out version of a a highly addictive flash game I'm hoping they only have to sell like 50,000 for a sequel, as I remain hopelessly in love with the 2D shump genre...

It really should be a no-brainer if you liked Ikaruga, Gunstar Heroes, Radiant Silvergun or are looking forward to games like Gyrostar on Wii Ware.
I'm buying it tommorow, so if I disappear for awhile you'll know why...
But lets see some of that art
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.
When there are more laws, there are more criminals.
