This is what the Source say in Japan Preview 6-8 ". Next week however will certainly be more interesting for the PS3, as Metal Gear Solid 4 preorders are closing in on 210,000 units" so ToS2 is only 7k behind MGS4.

I KNEW IT... D: THANKS though I dunno how MGS4 have a 400,000 sales while TOS2 isnt even with almost same preorders. Its the reason why I created a thread about TOS2 competing MGS4 in terms of sales, guess Im wrong about preorders then.

So we can expect something like 250.000 first week or more then. That's amazing.
If so it will be a big incentive to make JRPG's for Wii (not that any complaining is needed on that front...).

Even how much I like suikoden is that game really that popular in japan konami should consider it to be develop in any console as of now?

 i know its totally off topic but i'm just about to finish playing suikoden V and its a brilliant game, i would love to see the next iteration on the wii. and as for ToS i really hope it cracks more then 200k in its first week, but it looks like it'll do it hopefully

I like most of Suikoden I already played 2,3, 4 and 5. Never finished 4 because they ruin the turn battle system thank goodness its back in 5. Suikoden V have too much loading times though... But you can accustom with it in time.
