I had the original fatty PSP and sold it about a year or so ago when the new slims were announced. Due to a few unforseen things happening (my girlfriend paid off my NG2 and MGS4 preorders out of the blue) I have a bit of Gamestop credit I'm thinking of using on a new PSP. She hated me for selling my original PSP so I think this would be a good trade-off for both of us.

The question I ask is that I haven't kept up at all with the new games that came out since the new model was released. I still have a few games I hung on to and am looking for suggestions on what I should pick up. These are the games I have left over from my old system:

Lumines I & II
Hot Shots Golf
Katamari

My old PSP was homebrewed so I had a few other things on it but I'm not looking to really tweak with this one. I would really like some handheld RPG's but I'm not sure what the PSP has to offer. Other genre's I'm definitely open to so just suggest a way. I know I could browse metacritic for games but I'm wanting some peer suggested things not just stuff that got a good review score...

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Jeanne D'Arc is my favourite PSP game.
I also thoroughly enjoyed FFT, FF7:CC, God of War, and Brave Story was ok.
There are many many others. There are a few Tales of games if you like those as well.

 Haha, yeah I sold it right when the slim's were announced.  I wanted to dump it while the resale was still high and planned on buying a new model when they came out.  Things just kept coming up and I never really had the money to drop on a new one.  Kinda funny that my g/f likes the "hardcore" games more than I do, she never was a real fan of my DS.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. It'll give me some to look into :)

I'd wait on it. Due to the lack of announcements for the handheld in recent times, I'm guessing it's about due for a price drop. I mean, the only big announced releases that I can think of in the future are Dissidia, Kingdom Hearts: BBS, and Secret Agent Clank.

 It really looked good for the psp for awhile, but since god of war and ff noting has been happening, no big announcements of any sort.
