I see this as an ultimate battle. Now this won't be a type of halo battle. (where we couldn't possibly beat the 360 because of the massive halo 3 hype.) This is going to be a big week for the Ps3. But, we all can't forget what Nintendo did during gta4 week. We just can't. (and all the arguements going on the internet about npd being wrong.) How do you see the console sales for the 2? (leave 360 out of this. It won't beat either anyways.) Wii- 500k Ps3- 350k (i forsee an American explosion in sales and a nice rise in Others sales. It will get a nice little tap in Japan. this is for the Wii. ) The Ps3 could be close to it by about 10k in Japan. (both in Japan should pass 35k.)

Rockband for 360 may rise the 360 maybe 20k. But, the Ps3 sales, imo, will be around 350k. I mean, it's exclusive. How much did the Wii sell when Galaxy came? Like 700k? It was a HUGE boost Ww.

Because if not, the gap between PS3 and wii could be very small. Even though the wii is still riding wiifit... it still comes down to the stock.

with that being said, if MGS4 "underperformed" in sales , I wouldn't be surprised. It will sell well (very well) in the long run. But MGS4 is still somewhat of a niche title to some extent.

In conclusion, I agree with the OP's prediction, assuming the wii's are available.

I predicted the Ps3's number because of the exclusivity of Mgs4. (not a multiplat title like some internet rumors have saidit. You know, being on 360 in 2010.)

Well, based on the low Wii Fit stocks these previous weeks, I am predicting Ninty will do a major push on those this week. So expect Wii Fit sales to almost rival those of MGS4 (If I am correct...), or at least be well above last weeks numbers.

Also, I predict a surge in supply of Wii, and a HUGE surge in PS3 sales.
