Street Fighter, easily. Mortal Kombat relied too much on blood and violence for cheap notoriety. Street Fighter is a classic. Mortal Kombat was a fad.

yea thats what i was thinking, MK has ruthless characters while SF does have tough characters, they just aren't as gritty. they just beat you up and hope you learned your lesson. Maybe we should do a bracket. Any suggestions.

Street Fighter is better than Mortal Kombat. If I were to take Guile and do his Sonic Boom attack in Mortal-Kombat-Land, it would slice poor little Movado and his wires in half.
