Forums - Nintendo - IGN: Blast Works (Wii) gets 8.1, anyone interested?

Blast Works: Fuse Build and Destroy is a typical 2D shooter, but with an editing mode that lets you design your own levels.

Also additional user generated content can be downloaded.

Looks like a very decent title. Lots of 2D shooters on Wii lately

BlastWorks isn't visually impressive, and I wish the editors were just a little easier to use. All this user-generated content might cause a storage problem, as well, as after messing around with the editors for just a short time I had already used 30 percent of my storage space. But overall, this is a great value that provides almost limitless replayability. If you consider yourself a shooter fan you should definitely check it out, but I also recommend it to gamers eager to unleash their creativity and design their own BlastWorks.

It was already posted. I'm getting it. I like the concept.

OK, sorry. I always check the recent threads, but the old one wasn't there anymore. So probably no-one's really interested...

I'm totally getting this one. The gameplay looks awesome, and you can create your own levels and ships, and download an unlimited number of ships and levels from their website.

Cool gameplay and limitless value, for 40 bucks, hell yes.

On my watch list as well. Probably going to pick it up as my July purchase, unless Alone in the Dark really impresses.
