I'll buy it when i get a PS3. Even if nobody else does.
Ps3_GOW said: But could anyone explain what's attracting them to this game, I've watched the trailer's and it's quite interesting of what there doing but I don't know why it just doesn't really stand out that much to me compared to other games that are coming out. |
I love games with extensive level editing abilties.
Renting it first. The game looks interesting and all, but I'm not sure if I'll like it.
I need one more major thing on the game like enemies before I decide i'll buy it. I'm not normaly into this genre , I might play a game like this but never normaly purchase it.
If its $40 or less I will unless I really love the beta. Gamestop has it pre-order for $60 and I just won't be able to make that kinda jump on a game like this.
@Million: I read an interview recently about the 'enemies' topic, and there won't technically really be enemies, as in obstacles that appear again and again throughout the game that the developers made.
Instead, there are AI patterns that you can apply to things that you make (I'm sure the developers did this to some premade items in-game). For example, if you make a 'scary dinosaur', as long as you put wheels on him, you can assign the 'Chase' AI and it'll chase you throughout the level until you find a way to stop it.
I WANT THIS DAMN GAME!
Unless it gets Haze-like reviews pre-launch...Im in.
Crap...Im now in for : MGS4, LBP, R2, SOCOM...and probably one sports game.
PSN: TheGodofWine (Warhawk / R2 / MotorStorm PR)
AND
PSN: Skigazzi (for KZ2 and future games)
I'm definitely getting this. I love to customize and build my own levels (I loved the map editor in AoM). Day 1 purchase for me.
Ps3_GOW said: So I just want to ask another quick question, is there a certain objective in the game or is it just free roaming looking for object's to take and make obstacles with?, or is it one of them games where you just try to get from the beginning of the level to the end? (like the early Mario games) |
Think early Mario games. Beating certain objectives in the level CAN award you with new items, though. This is true even in user-generated levels. The level designer can offer parts they've designed or sackboy outfits they've come up with as objective rewards.
User levels can also be set up as multiplayer platformer race courses for a bit of extra variety.
