I don't think there is a God because there's too much innocent people suffering in the world... You may say it was caused by men but then why are men like that? Wouldn't a good God make us perfect like him? Or maybe he isn't what we think he is...

I'm just posting to mark this. It's a long thread and I'm starting at the beginning. I want to see how this shapes up.

So far it is a thousand times better than any religious topic on gamefaqs. I'm guessing it's because the median age here is considerably higher than at gamefaqs.

I think it comes down to this, i believe in god

the reason for this is is because whats the harm in doing so? if i dont believe in god do i feel better about myself, think im above other people? No
I believe in god, its a way of giving me hope, and bettering myself, and it also gives me strength. If there is no harm in believing i dont see the problem. IF there is one, good i believed in him and lived by his laws.

God is self-explanatory. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and timeless by definition, thus He always was and always will be. He is not bounded by the logic of this physical world. He is not bounded by time, physics, or any of the rules that bound us as physical beings. Therefore, He could very easily have always been and it is He whom I believe created everything that we know, this Universe that we live in, bounded by rules of which He is not.

It's so bulletproof.
