a typical christian will swear their faith up and down, til the end, which is fine, I love christ, but I am not christian, I do believe in being christ like, also following buddha being kind, so that does not make me a christian, I cant stand when so called christians say they never judge anyone, yet they do, repeatedly, and say their rleigion is all and mighty.
Stop being closed minded! I do not have anything against christians. Start asking questions and start reading other bibles, and scriptures from various religions. We teach our children from birth that, what ever religion we worship is the correct one, Wrong, its called free will, and you christians, sas you put itsay.oh you have to go to church
No you do not, 2 people praying together is a church, Remember the bible talks against organized religion and leading the flock astray,

Our creator gave us free will. I have run ins constantly with..so called christians saying I am going to hell because I do not go to their church, or I believe in teachings of other people as well,

How about everyone does me a favor, Please read other religions(you wont go to hell) and study, history, science and art. take in spirituality, and see what kind of a better person you are.
You might see that wars might be ended, after all how many people on this post are one sided, when I tell people to be open minded, Trust me god will not kill you......why trust me? I am a voice who will not give you my documented proof right?

try and be more positive, The bible says love thy neighbor, yet if the neighbor is not of our religion we ignore and say they are bad right??? Bad teachings, Hipocracy is rampant in 98% in all churches, how many of you know someone that is a druggie, adulteress or what ever, and they go to church as a crutch??

I must admit. It's wrong to shove religion down your throat no matter what. This is why i made this topic. To create a way to express why they believe what they believe.

Sieanr: I must admit that evolution has many evidence to prove their religion, but the main problem is that they believe humans are evolving because we are getting smarter. I always thought this way funny, just because we are more advance in technology does not mean we are evolving. It means that we know how to pass knowledge to the next generation and they learn how to improve on the knowledge. It's a big difference my friend.

Even if it's in the off topic section(the forum is ultimately dedicated to vgs btw), religion/politics are the napalm of threads and one flame can set the entire thread a blaze...

And yes I do remember that, and after he rediscovered the America's he got famous and then he died pretty much poor...

But even if he had faith in his belief, doesn't mean i should give a shit about what you believe in your's or vice versa...

I'm an atheist myself, and in my opinion, religion is just a hope and temporary fill-in until we discover the truth about the world and beyond.

Exactly. The theory of gravity is widely accepted, but it cannot be proven as fact, it comes soley from speculation. There could very well be a star twice the size of the sun that doesn't have gravity. There could be a fact that only inertia exsists as oppose to gravity. But when you think of it, what goes up does come down and that's gravitiy.

However about Scientific Law, it is this that makes scientists ignorant. Scientific Law only has to do with the physical and natural, but nothing to do with the supernatural and spiritual. This is perfectly fine, but the problem is that because there is no Science to spiritualiaty and supernature, some people regard it as non existant, which is a disease of the Human mind when i think of it. How come when people think of the advances made by ancient men they only think of the scientific, technological, and political and nothing to do with the spiritual. People disregard it as foolishness which is really ignorant. Nowadays we lost our sense of soul. We can't appretiate nature as the wonderful works of God anymore sumply because our scientific jargon has taken it away.

If a child asks you How is there a Rainbow you'd tell them about the light reflecting differently off of the water and dust paricles that float in Earth's space which we know as Air. But what if the child asked you Why are there Rainbows? Would you say the same thing? Doing that would prove your ignorance, or lack of knowledge of the world you dwell in. That is the difference between Science and Nescience. The Laws of the Universe and the Laws of Beyond the Universe.


 The Universal Law of Gravitation or the Law of Gravity has been proven and observed.  Gravity is relative to mass.  We have calculated and confirmed the effects of gravity on other planets.  We have used this to slingshot probes into deep space.  We have also landed on the moon.  Or have we? :)

I don't think any scientist would or should attempt to prove or disprove the existance of God.
