If you have a creditcard and your Wii is connected to the internet you should be able to buy them on the Wii.
You can buy from the console. Requires a credit card, obviously.

My impressions after playing the wii for a little while is it is definitely fun. I don't know why I waited so long to get one. Wii sports was fun but the boxing made me tired and now I want a nap. Though I was a terrible driver on mario kart using the wii wheel, I did much better without it. Haven't played Brawl yet will save that for latter. The wii is a definite must buy. I'm going to go pick up some games Saturday and will keep everyones advise in mind. Thanks for the game advise.

Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda: Twilight Princess are the first you should get.
Nintendo still doomed?

For the Virtual Console, you must buy:
-SkyKid
-Toejam & Earl
-Mario Bros. [the original one, none of that "Super" crap]
Do it.
Your Wal Mart had it in stock? Did you just get lucky or are Wiis actually getting the chance the hang out together on store shelves these days?
My Top 5:
Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger
My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii
Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
