The best game of the current generation is all a matter of personal opinion and what console you are a fan of. Nintendo Wii owners would say SMG. PS3 owners would say MGS 4. Gamesite reviewers do not represent the opinion of everyone it is just their job to give their opinion. Game reviewers are journalists.

Bestselling system = most quick cash-ins = most shovelware

All it really says about the Wii is that it's a titanic success. I fully expect the Wii to eventually hold all ten of the worst games this generation. I also expect it, however, to hold the most titles in the top ten best.

Then I guess PS3 owners have good imaginations, as only a scant few of them have actually played MGS4. Also, does that mean that PSWii owners think the best game is Super Mario Gear Solid 2? I'm so confused at what I think the best game is.

Also also, list definitely needs more Vampire Rain. The metaphorical "turd" representing the amount of fail displayed by that game would dwarf a solar system. Or perhaps several.
