God I hate Raiden.....can he not just die or something!
The problem with MGS series is that the plot is so retarded that I could spoil it without playing it. For example:
1) One of the patriots is Benjamin Franklin or one of the founding fathers.
2) Snake dies in the end, but like everyone one else in the series he will come back in a zombie/cyborg/alien/werewolf form
3) Snake meets for the first time a close relative (sister, mom, another cloned brother, son), then he is betrayed by him/her and may fight or kill him/her.
4) At some point Kojima will ruin the history with the typical "this was all planed from the start and you did everything according to our schedule" plot twist.
5) There will be new themes totally strange to the MGS universe that will degenerate into a melodramatic cutscenes.
6) Someone Snake killed will come back to hunt him.
I am not taking any chances. I don`t want to be banned because my jokes turned out to be the truth.

I did not think of that one, but that would be great....
Anyway, why was not this the case previously. In the review of CC FFVII, the story was ruined for me as I have not played FF VII, and I am actually pretty annoyed, so I would really prefer it if this was a website wide policy about spoilers.

It is a website-wide policy. If you ever see someone post a spoiler like that again, report them.
