Looks like it's been lifted off the Japanese Nintendo Channel. And while it's awfully long, it's also awfully informative, taking the time to show you exactly how the game will control, and in the process answering any questions you probably have bout the thing. While it's slightly disappointing the game's controls don't go far beyond Wii Baseball's (in particular the pedestrian pitching), it's a Nintendo game. On the Wii. So it'll sell a million or two regardless.

It looks on par with the other Mario sports games. It should be as good as Mario Strikers Charged or Mario Golf. Any word if it is going to have an online mode?

Yeah, it looks like a gamecube graphics or a rehash of Mario kart Wii engine to me. Aleast the controls were improved from Wii Sports baseball...

Thats what I think about it, simply because Mario Kart wii isnt as graphically detailed as SMG doesnt mean I didnt enjoy it.

And dont get double meaning on what I say, what I say is what I say. i didnt bash the graphics of it.

I wish you'd linked to the original Wii Folder post instead of Kotaku. I always scroll down to check the comments and see a wall of douche on that site, and Wii Folder deserves the hits more.

I was lukewarm on the preview up until I saw the special attacks. Watching a fielder get roasted by a flaming hit or a batter get clobbered when DK pitches a barrel at him is just too awesome. 4-player local is sweet, too.

I'm not sold, but I'm way more interested than I was when Nintendo announced this title.

I'm still enjoying it. LOL Galaki is right though. It is a low res video so we can't honestly say how good it will look. Mario games aren't about looks anyway. They are all about how fun they are and it definitely looks fun.

It looks good to me (graphical wise), and it looks like a lot of fun.

Graphically, I think this will appear better than MKWii, because there is a lot less going on.

MKW has some beautiful scenery though, and this doesn't look like it will have that. It is a bit more Mario Party - esque.
