the PS3 will rise to occassion. I guarantee you it will!

Fact is it makes no sense to buy a PS3 now with a 80G bundle coming out in less than 2 weeks that will allow people to save 100$...........

This is probably why right now others sales are widely different than NA sales.

In Others the MGS4 bundle isn't any better than the GT5P or the GTA4 bundles that have been out for a while, you won't save more money holding out for MGS4 or get a PS3 with more features...

This is not the case at all in NA

hell to the no. That is very impossible. I'm starting to see 400k impossible. 350k WW is possible though. (which is kind of generous still considering it barely broke that when Gta4 came out WW.)

OT: Do any of you guys think Nintendo will pull a Gta4 counterattack on Mgs4? I mean, when Mgs4 comes to NA, Ps3 should break 140k and hit 150k. Will Nintendo drop out another 300k in America that week to counter? (along with 200k in Others?) The Japan sales should stay a little where they are now, but I think Ps3 will be behind in Japanby about 15-20k.

Remember how Nintendo pumped out over 300k in just NA and sold the combined total of Ps3 and 360? When they had Gta4?

The Wii was adjusted up last week from 280k or so to 325k. WiiSports wasn't updated, so you can sorta see the adjustment if you go to the American Weekly Sales for last week (unless ioi updates WiiSports).

And I'm pretty sure America has the 80GB, so there's no "re-introduction" of it. As far as I know...

Good week overall, though I expected the Wii to maintain about 200k, but since last week was higher than it was originally, the 150k isn't too bad.

80Gb hasn't been widely available in NA for months.

Maybe a few small shops still have some somewhere but it hasn't been available widely since something like February-March...

That's a joke, right?  Selling 500K for the PS3 in one week during the summer is a pipe-dream. Metal Gear Solid is not that popular.

no Amazon ran out of 80GB's back in Feb n its been gone in all of NA since early march

Wow Others spanked Americas, there is a huge difference in hardware sold.

i have said it many times but i will say it again the ps3 is falling week on week why because promises keep been broken; expectations fail to be fulfilled.
deadlines keep slipping.
