They don't have a confirmed release date now, but who knows, it may sell well in Japan and Namco may decide to release it in America or maybe even Europe. Sure it would take a long time, but it could happen.

And if you're a serious Japanese RPG fan I don't even know why you're bothering with home consoles this generation. Portables are the only real option. The DS has several more of them than the PSP, but the PSP has some good ones as well (Jeanne D'Arc, Crisis Core).

Sounds like what happened with Tales of Symphonia. It was eventually released for PS2 in Japan. Although, in the case of ToS, it was SCEA that prevented its US release. I wonder if this is a repeat of that or a decision by Namco.

Wow ,if thats true this sucks.I dont understand it ,the localization work has been already done!

Whats happening ?Did Eternal Sonata sell so bad on the 360 in western markets that they dont care to bring it to the PS3 ?

And what thinks Atari of this?They had the rights to release it in western markets if I correctly got it late last year....

It really doesn't matter to me, because I have the best of all worlds (PS3, Wii, X360, DS, PSP)

So I love it...but general speaking is that NamcoBandai might just release the title in Japan for a couple of months and then localize it for America and European release. Or if some other publisher wants to help distribute it in America or Europe.

But Montana is right, the portable handhelds, generally have the most RPG's at the moment then the X360 comes in behind.

Once read the news ,I think its not big deal.Its only Namco Bandai US dont knowing anything about the release date and doesnt having plans to release it.Something normal because its Atari who is supposed releasing it anyway.

Damn. I want this game on the PS3. Terrible decision if true.

Man I've been holding off on buying the 360 version, because I wanted the extra content of the PS3 version. Blah!

They said it's not announced for the US, "at the moment." So it still could be coming to the US just later on.
