That's better Zucas. No, don't use the word "retarded" and if you swear don't do it at someone else (preferably limit it in general, although I myself am not innocent of it).

Yes we should praise Ubisoft for continuously beating the dead horse by reusing all the same old stereotypes with slightly better graphics which only contributes to the oversaturation of the market with similar titles which will sooner or later cause it to crash.

Yes these are the people we should be praising. It's not hard to make something good if you reuse something that was good beforehand. An actual good developer is the one that starts those trends. Go praise Clover or Bioware or someone like them, but not Ubisoft.

Same old stereotypes with slighty better graphics? But you don't mention Nintendo (MK Wii, SSBB, Zelda: TP, Mario Part, etc.)?

For shame.

Didn't you say you didn't hate Nintendo? What's the matter with you?

You like to enter a thread, flamebait, and then when someone responds you go "I REPORTED YOU".
You are acting like a 5 year old kid, and I hope a mod realizes that instead of adding to the topic you enter to criticize people and flamebait. Of course people will react to your kiddie statements since you do them on purpose to piss people off.

Zucas didn't even mention Nintendo, the point of this thread was to talk about Ubisoft, but you come in and troll.

OT:You should remove some of those games from there, I didn't know Haze and Blazing angels were such good games, that sold so well, that you had to thank for them. 60% avrg scoring games is what you really want?
I would also ask for more diversity other than Tom Clancy games every month.

Finally someone sees my side of things here.

Well I use the word in the way mainstream people you would use it.  I mean you've never joked around with friends and said "retarded" or "gay".  I mean trust me I probably wasn't even using it to call him that.  Just kinda like a "are you serious" comment.

But good cause I swear a lot.  Not usually at people just to tack on to my sentences for more emphasis.

Erm...

Can you please go through my profile view, and see where I say "I REPORTED YOU", on more one or two occasions? Let me save you time of wading through 131 pages.  No.  You can't.

I think that your whole paragraph about me was projecting.  That's basically how you act (and are acting right now).  Zucas is over it, I'm over it, but here you are dredging this up.

Good job throwing salt on a wound Trestres... Yet I'm the troll/flamebaiter.

you can say the same thing about all the other developers including Nintendo.

 I don't remember mentioning Nintendo.  Don't assume.

What the hell are you talking about? He knows you didn't mention Nintendo, he isn't assuming anything, he means that critisizing Ubisoft for the reason you stated would apply to many other companies, even Nintendo, meaning it is a shitty reason on it's own.

Why do you keep going on and on about assuming things in all your posts? Do you even know what that word means?

Far Cry 2 is definitely one of the most interesting games in quite a while. What's the best is that it's coming on PS3. Not that I would be getting it though since I'll be getting the PC version if my PC can run it. I really hope they'll release a SDK as well although I doubt it. At least every version is going to get a map editor which is excellent for consoles.

Wait, Wii's not getting it? No, I can't get it then. It's worse than a crime not to port such an easily-ported game.

Also, Assassin's Creed seems kinda interesting. Hope to play it some day. Conviction sound nice as well but it's on X360 so I'm not going to be able to play it ever or very soon at least.

It's kinda rational for them not to release such 'hardcore' games on Wii. After all, Wii's mostly a casual console although it does have some 'hardcore' gamers as well. Not all may like it (personally I'm not a friend of that kind of business either) but they have a good reason to act this way.
If that is ture then why did 1 out of every 128 wii owners buy their casual games? Oh do hardcore games sell more on the wii? If you look at this thread you will see http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=28196&start=0. That is a fallacy that the wii is mostly casual.

I won't even try to pretend that I would have read all thet thread but to me it would still seem that Wii is mostly a casual console. And as someone seemed to state, Mario is a franchise familiar even to casuals. Otherwise it seems kinda casual.

I don't see Far Cry 2 as being easy to port.

Far Cry Vengence is the worst game on the Wii period. If it was easy to port even a lazy half ass dev team couldn't make it that bad. The Paths were so linear it might as well be a rail shooter, the AI was just... I'm not even sure there really was an AI outside of "Shoot when something is in your LOS.".

Me neither. Instead I do sense some sarcasm there.

Assume means to overinterpret in hopes that you can find the real meaning in what someone has said or written, more or less for internet forum terms.  Basically your not reading it literally but thinking about something else at the time.  Usually people who assume don't listen.  It bothers the hell out of me.

And by the way that is wrong.  It's supposed to read I don't remember not mentiong Nintendo.  Forgot the not.  That's kinda important I guess.

I am a pretty big fan of Ubisoft Montreal (PoP series and Assassin's Creed), so I will add this to my sig. The American Ubisoft stuff (Tom Clancy, other random games/series) I could take or leave.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Well, they've already given us GRAW, Assassin's Creeed, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and, I look forward to HAWX and the next Splinter Cell...

Don't forget about Endwar, The original Vegas, and GRAW 2.

Also i'm pretty sure Assassin's Creed will have a sequel

Oh well this topic as gone to hell cause everyone doesn't want me to bash on Ubisoft for something unless I bash on Nintendo as well, which is off topic by the way. Which is why I never mentioned them because its out of place. Once again if this had been Nintendo topic and I said the same thing except about Nintendo no one would care that I didn't mention Ubisoft or whoever.

I like Ubisoft. I really do. I think they are a decent developer. It's just I only PRAISE developers that don't sit back and let other people create things for them. Which is why I praise guys like Suda 51 or Hideo Kojima or Shinji Mikami or Will Wright or Shigeru Miyamoto. Or teams that have created Okami or LittleBigPlanet or whatever. These are guys I praise cause they innovate and create what companies like Ubisoft will evolve.
