It will sell one million first day easily. Half of the week's launch sales are achieved in the first day. I expect 2 million copies of MGS 4 to be sold in its first week worldwide.

Well ,even with PS3 small japanese userbase this should at least do better that DMC4 that managed some 140K first day and 210K first week.It may sell some 175K units day one and 275K units week one and lowballing its sales.

As for UE and USA ...if it manages something along the lines of GTAIV then of course it can.It would put it at 1.3 million in EU and 1 million in USA in one week and probably 700K on EU and 400K in USA in day one.That would put it worldwide in 2.45M week one and some 1.25 million day one.

If it cant match GTAIV sales even in its first week (GTA will have long legs) then it could settle to 1.2 million for first week and 750-800K for first day.

Anyway it has a midnight launch so i guess it could. i have predicted around 2mil sales WW first week, but i dont know how many sell in the first 24 hours

for harcore titles around 60-70% of sales are in the first day of total week sales
